Some Examples of Tag Usage, And A Long Article Title

Here’s an introductory paragraph, with an inline link. Nunc a lorem ut nulla egestas tincidunt bold text. Aliquam malesuada risus a orci emphasized with italics.

This paragraph is followed by a blockquote.

Pellentesque habitant morbi tristique senectus et netus et malesuada fames ac turpis egestas. Praesent tincidunt, libero vitae tincidunt malesuada, est elit ornare augue, et dignissim ligula enim commodo augue. Suspendisse purus. Morbi condimentum tristique enim. Suspendisse laoreet leo quis magna. Example.com: Link wrapped in cite tag

And if you place a cite tag after the text but within the blockquote tags, it will break to a new line and align right. Good for showing the link from which the quote was pulled.

This Subtitle Is Wrapped In h4 Tags

The following “inline quote” is wrapped in a <cite> tag: “Phasellus tortor ipsum, sollicitudin eu, aliquet in, sollicitudin in, mi. Duis et mauris vitae lectus euismod tempus. Fusce tincidunt nisi ac lacus. Nulla eu nunc. Quisque est.” This can be useful when there’s “just a few words” you want to quote in a sentence. Some people use the “title” attribute of the cite tag to include the source URL, like so:

<cite title="http://somedomain.com/somepage.html">

The above tag is wrapped in code tags, created using Textile by placing an @ before and after the code you want displayed.
